Job summary

YETI is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the U.S. and Canada AP function within the Controllership organization. You will oversee end-to-end AP processes, ensure timely and accurate vendor records, and uphold GAAP compliance while driving improvements.

You will manage a four-person AP team, partner with Accounting, Procurement, IT, FP&A, Operations, and Marketing to meet monthly and quarterly deadlines, and own policy enforcement for T&E, Concur, and card programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive AP or accounting experience, including 3+ years of management experience.
• Experience with AP operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (international experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, vendor management, and T&E policy administration.
• Hands-on experience with Concur and corporate card programs strongly preferred.
• Experience with SAP or other major ERP systems preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Outlook and Word.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of meeting deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and manage multiple priorities.
• Professional AP certifications (e.g., APA, APM) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing AP team.
• Oversee full-cycle AP for U.S. and Canada.
• Manage weekly payment runs including ACH, checks, wires, and cross-border payments.
• Oversee AP journal entries, month-end accruals, reconciliations, and close deliverables.
• Lead year-end 1099 reporting and ensure compliance with IRS and CRA requirements.
• Own, maintain, and enforce T&E policy and Concur administration.
• Oversee corporate card programs: issuance, monitoring, and monthly reconciliations.
• Provide training on T&E expectations and system usage.
• Maintain internal controls over AP, T&E, and cash disbursements.
• Prepare documentation for audits and SOX compliance.
• Drive process improvements and partner with IT on system enhancements.
