Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in managing high volume accounts payable in large-scale organizations.
• GAAP knowledge and strong financial reporting.
• Strong management experience with ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros.
• Experience with JD Edwards is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyze complex data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily operations of the accounts payable department and ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with company policies and GAAP.
• Managing month-end closing of the accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Analyzing accounts payable data, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining systems, procedures, and policies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable function.
• Training, coaching, and supervising accounts payable staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Preparing and presenting financial reports related to accounts payable to senior management.
• Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to resolve accounts payable issues.
• Participating in the development of the annual budget and periodic forecast updates.
