Qualifications

• Requires strong knowledge of GAAP and financial controls.
• Experience in accounts payable and expenditure processing.
• Ability to use automated financial systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication; collaboration with internal/external stakeholders.
• Ability to document and interpret policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Experience supervising or leading staff.
• Combination of experience and accounting/business coursework.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end AP operations and supervise staff.
• Develop and monitor performance metrics and ensure compliance with policies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve payment issues and improve processes.
• Review accounting records and perform timely reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Identify system or process issues and support improvements, testing, and implementation.
• Assist with year-end close and reporting and support internal/external audits.
