Genworth Financial is seeking an Accounts Payable / Expense Management Representative in a hybrid role based around Lynchburg, VA and Richmond, VA. You will process invoices, validate data, and support month-end close while collaborating with Sourcing, requesters, and suppliers.

The role emphasizes process automation, internal controls, and serving as an SME within the AP team. A High School Diploma and AP experience are required, with a preference for an associate or bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Excellent communication, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable invoices and related functions.
• Review and code invoices, ensure proper approvals.
• Resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams.
• Support month-end close processes and process improvements.
• Assist with OCR/ICR data validation and data entry into Oracle.
• Provide SME guidance within the AP team.
