Jobot is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join onsite in Dyersburg, TN. This permanent, full-time role oversees the AP function, manages vendor relationships, and ensures accurate month-end closings.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting and 5+ years in a supervisory AP role, with strong analytical and communication skills and familiarity with multi-state tax returns and payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in accounts payable.
• Experience with payment processing, AP, multi-state tax returns, and vendor payments.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting implications for AP.
• Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the accounts payable department, including invoice and payment processing and vendor management.
• Develop and implement systems, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
• Manage month-end close and posting of financial statements.
• Coordinate documents to ensure AP system efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain vendor relationships and partnerships.
• Assist audits and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Prepare and file multi-state tax returns.
• Analyze discrepancies in payments and invoices.
• Train and mentor AP staff on processes.
• Collaborate with finance managers to support department goals.
