Job summary

INOX SOLAR is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the AP function, vendor payment processes, and related accounting activities. The role includes leading a team, ensuring accurate invoicing, strong internal controls, and supporting month-end and year-end closes.

You will collaborate with Accounting, Purchasing, Receiving, Operations, and executives to optimize processes, maintain vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Five or more years of accounts payable or accounting experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, general accounting principles, and internal controls.
• Experience managing invoice processing, vendor reconciliations, payment cycles, and financial close activities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop accounting personnel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using an ERP or accounting system.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounts payable activities, including invoice receipt, verification, coding, approval, and processing.
• Oversee vendor account maintenance and ensure vendor records are accurate and complete.
• Manage payment processing, including checks, ACH, and wires, and coordinate with leadership on cash flow.
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities and report on AP performance.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for accounts payable activities.
• Provide guidance on complex invoice issues and vendor disputes.
