Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our California office. This role focuses on high-volume AP processing, subcontractor billings, and check runs in a dynamic team environment.

You will work onsite five days per week in Union City, collaborating with accounting and operations to ensure accurate, timely invoicing and compliance with internal controls and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Construction industry Accounts Payable experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Vista
• High-volume invoice processing experience
• Experience with subcontractor billings and check runs
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Positive attitude and team-oriented personality
• Ability to work onsite five days per week

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume AP invoices accurately and efficiently
• Handle subcontractor billings and overhead invoices
• Complete check runs and manage off-site checks
• Review invoice documentation and resolve discrepancies
• Coordinate with accounting team members and internal departments
• Support AI-assisted invoice processing workflows
• Assist with GL responsibilities depending on experience
• Maintain accuracy while managing changing priorities
• Take on additional accounting responsibilities as the company grows
