Job summary

TriSource is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Leader to guide a tenured AP team and safeguard cash flow across ongoing construction projects. You will partner with project and operations leaders to ensure accurate, timely disbursements and strong vendor relationships.

In this role you’ll refine internal controls, streamline invoice coding and contract compliance, and lead cross-functional initiatives that improve efficiency and support growth. A collaborative leadership style is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading accounts payable teams, preferably within construction, contracting, or project-based environments.
• Strong understanding of cash controls, payment processes, vendor management, and AP best practices.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Experience with ERP and financial systems; exposure to Timberline/Sage and TimberScan is a plus.

• Lead a team of accounts payable professionals, ensuring smooth disbursement activity and consistent service to internal stakeholders and vendors.

• Manage cash disbursement activity, Positive Pay exceptions, and account funding coordination to support accurate and timely payment cycles.
• Oversee quarterly tax filings and lien waiver collection processes, helping maintain compliance across active construction projects.
• Partner with Accounting and Finance leadership on process improvements, reconciliations, and special projects that enhance operational efficiency.
