Cable One is seeking a Lease Accountant to manage ASC 842 lease accounting and maintain detailed understanding of end-to-end processes, systems, and controls. You will support internal and external reporting while ensuring compliance with governance standards.

The role emphasizes proactive analysis, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliation, with opportunities to contribute to audits and process improvements in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financial Accounting.
• Minimum of one year of practical general ledger accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains lease accounting schedules per ASC 842.
• Develops end-to-end lease accounting processes and controls.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly analyses and related journal entries.
• Reconciles balance sheet accounts and investigates variances.
• Supports internal and external audit activities, including SOX compliance.
• Completes special projects as requested by leadership.
• Keeps up-to-date with FASB, SEC and PCAOB accounting standards.
