Job summary

Kimball Electronics is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead and optimize the North American A/P operations on a full-time basis in the United States. You will manage the A/P team, ensure timely processing of invoices, and uphold strong internal controls while partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

The role emphasizes process improvements, month-end close support, and potential system and automation initiatives within a manufacturing/shared services

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience preferred.
• 2+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and internal controls.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial close procedures.
• SOX knowledge and compliance experience.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all accounts payable activities for timely processing of vendor invoices and payments.
• Manage North American A/P team and maintain internal controls.
• Support month-end close activities and interact with internal stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Oversee vendor maintenance, payment execution, and expense reports.
• Develop relationships with external vendors and internal customers.
• Mentor and develop the Accounts Payable team.
