Job summary

Parker Industrial Process Filtration, a division of Parker Hannifin, is seeking an Accounts Payable Leader to oversee daily full-cycle AP workflows, ensure accurate 3-way matching, and mentor AP Specialists and Clerks. You will lead month-end close, GL reconciliations, and vendor communications while maintaining GAAP and SOX controls.

A strong ERP/AP automation background and Excel proficiency are essential to drive process improvements with modern AP software.

Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of ERP and AP automation systems and Excel.
High degree of accuracy with numerical data, general ledger coding, and reconciliations.
Clear written and verbal communication for managing supplier relationships and internal teams.
Capacity to multitask and meet high-volume deadlines in fast-paced financial environments.

Responsibilities

Lead daily full-cycle AP workflows, including 3-way match and batch processing.
Mentor AP Specialists and Clerks, distributing workloads and providing backup coverage.
Lead or assist with month-end and year-end AP closings, including AP aging analyses and GL reconciliations.
Serve as primary contact for vendor inquiries, disputes, and contract discrepancies.
Ensure adherence to GAAP, SOX compliance and tax regulations; assist audits.
Identify bottlenecks and implement automated AP best practices using modern AP software.
