Job summary

Cooper Auto Group is a family owned business celebrating decades of service and headquartered in Edmond, OK. We’re seeking an Accounting Office Manager with a strong accounts payable background to lead a consolidated office supporting thirteen franchise retail automotive dealerships and service centers.

This position reports to the Controller and is located at our corporate office in Edmond. Hours are Mon - Fri 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Strong accounts payable experience required.
• Experience with vendor setup, 1099, AP controls.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial statements.
• Retail automotive accounting experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage accounts payable operations.
• Establish and maintain AP controls and procedures.
• Review monthly expense analysis, balance sheets, GL, and schedules.
• Ensure adherence to accounting procedures and prepare information for CFO.
• Provide training and supervision for new employees.
