Job summary

Aston Carter seeks an Accounts Payable Supervisor in Bethesda, MD to lead a high-volume AP team across multiple entities, serve as Workday Financials SME, and drive improvements, controls, and automation.

You will supervise staff, ensure accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations, support month-end close, and collaborate with Finance, IT, and Operations on ERP projects and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• BS degree in accounting, finance, or closely related field.
• 5+ years of AP leadership experience, managing 6+ staff.
• Experience with Workday Financials and ERP implementations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily AP operations across multiple entities in a high-volume environment.
• Supervise and mentor AP staff to meet goals and deadlines.
• Manage invoice processing, vendor payments, ACH and wire transfers.
