Job summary

PACCAR is seeking an Accounts Payable professional in the Washington, DC area. The role focuses on invoice processing, expense reporting, and acting as the AP liaison for branches, vendors, and the General Accounting team.

You will support month-end close and ensure timely payments while upholding internal controls. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 1+ years of AP experience, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance.
• 1+ years of AP experience.
• Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail and a big-picture focus.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and Concur expense reports with accuracy and compliance.
• Serve as AP partner for branch locations, vendors and General Accounting.
• Review DocuWare workflow activity and resolve aging transactions weekly.
• Prepare month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Provide training and mentorship to AP team members and interns.
