Job summary

Anchor QEA is seeking an Accounts Payable Lead in Seattle, WA to assist the Assistant Controller in managing the company’s cash cycle. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate payment activity and provide cash flow visibility to senior management.

The role requires a two-year accounting/finance degree, 10+ years in the outgoing cash cycle, and experience with BST/Deltek.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Experience in the A/E/C industry preferred.
• BST, Deltek, and similar ERP suites experience.
• 10+ years in the outgoing cash cycle (AP, treasury/banking).
• Must demonstrate integrity and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices from subcontractors and vendors daily, coding to project and account and routing for approval.
• Reconcile vendor statements monthly to ensure valid and timely payments.
• Lead annual 1099 reporting and weekly payment processes.
• Assist with cash forecasting and month-end/year-end activities as needed.
• Support data quality for related reports and respond to inquiries from stakeholders.
