Job summary

Sabey Corporation in Tukwila, WA seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP and subcontractor payables operations. Reporting to the Controller, you will manage a team, ensure accurate processing, and uphold financial controls in a growth‑oriented real estate and data center company.

You will lead process improvements, drive timely payments, and maintain strong relationships with vendors and employees. A hands‑on leader with 7+ years accounting, including 5+ years AP, is ideal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of accounting experience including 5+ years in accounts payable.
• Demonstrated leadership and experience developing a team.
• Advanced knowledge of full-cycle accounting and accounting best practices.
• Proficiency with Yardi and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of accounts payable and subcontractor payables.
• Oversee department activities and ensure timely payments.
• Manage corporate credit card and employee expense reporting with proper documentation.
• Document and implement standard AP policies and procedures.
• Set and monitor department objectives and drive achievement.
• Build relationships with Sabey staff, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Review AP aging and intercompany accounts for accuracy.
• Prepare weekly CFO check register and cash flow reports.
