Martin Transportation Systems Inc. is seeking an organized Accounts Payable Coordinator to support invoice processing, vendor payments, account reconciliation, reporting, and compliance. This role connects vendors with internal teams and requires ownership of deadlines and improving processes.

You will manage invoice processing, payment runs, vendor inquiries, and documentation while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Strong Excel and accounting system experience preferred.

Formación

• Education in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Verify, enter, code, and process invoices accurately and on time.
• Monitor AP email inbox; process invoices and documentation; maintain records.
• Complete weekly payment runs and maintain payment documentation.
• Monitor AP reports and aging; research and resolve items.
• Assist with vendor reconciliations, discrepancies, and payment issues.
• Set up new vendors and maintain account information, including addresses, contacts, and payment details.
• Respond to vendor questions about invoices, payments, and balances.
• Obtain and update vendor information while building relationships with vendors and internal departments.
• Maintain W-9 documentation and assist with 1099 preparation and filing.
• Assist with sales tax reporting, AP audits, month-end activities, and financial reporting support.
• Maintain AP records per IRS guidelines and company retention policies.
• Support electronic payment processing and seek process improvements.
• Contribute to process documentation and system enhancements.
