About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator & Team Lead to oversee all Accounts Payable functions. The role involves working closely with the AP Manager, managing vendor engagement, AP inbox, payables runs, surplus payment requests, employee credit card reports, and 1099 tracking. The ideal candidate is a strong leader, effective trainer, and capable of maintaining deadlines and prioritizing tasks. This position offers growth opportunities within the AP and broader finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all Accounts Payable functions and collaborate with the AP Manager
• Lead a team of AP Clerks
• Review AP transactions and implement controls
• Prepare regular payables runs
• Oversee employee expense reports
• Manage escalated communications with vendors professionally
• Coordinate communication between vendors and internal purchasing teams
• Maintain internal controls related to AP processes

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3+ years in AP Coordination
• 3+ years of team leadership experience
• Training in fraud prevention and internal controls
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Discretion in handling sensitive information
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with accounting software and Google Suite

Compensation & Benefits

Starting salary range with bonus: $60-75k. Includes up to $1,000/month wellness stipend and other benefits.
