About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator & Team Lead to oversee all AP functions, work closely with the AP Manager, and lead a team of AP Clerks. Responsibilities include vendor engagement, managing AP inbox and communications, preparing payables runs, tracking surplus payment requests, reviewing employee credit card expenses, and maintaining 1099 reporting. This role offers growth opportunities within the finance & accounting teams.

Your Responsibilities

• Oversee all Accounts Payable functions and collaborate with the AP Manager
• Lead and train a team of AP Clerks
• Review AP transactions and ensure internal controls
• Prepare regular payables runs
• Oversee employee expense reports
• Manage vendor communications professionally
• Coordinate between vendors and internal purchasing teams
• Maintain AP-related internal controls

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least 3 years of AP coordination experience
• At least 3 years of team leadership experience
• Training in fraud prevention and internal controls
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Google Suite
• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information

Compensation & Benefits

Starting salary range: $60,000 - $75,000 plus bonus. Benefits include up to $1,000/month wellness stipend and more.
