Job summary

The Humane Society of Missouri is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our Accounting and Finance team on a full-time basis in St. Louis. You will process invoices, match POs, and maintain vendor records, ensuring timely payments and accuracy.

This role requires at least 2 years of AP or general accounting experience, proficiency with Microsoft Solomon, and familiarity with the RAMP platform; strong Excel skills and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Solomon and RAMP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices accurately and timely.
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for approval and payment.
• Manage vendor records and maintain accurate account information.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Process and monitor payments through the RAMP payment system.
• Enter and maintain financial transactions in Microsoft Solomon.
• Assist with monthly closing activities and account reconciliations.
• Prepare reports and documentation for audits and financial review.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and accounting procedures.
• Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments.
• Support additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
