Job summary

OPENLANE, a leader in automotive remarketing, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk II with experience in dealer refunds, check/ACH payments, and mail logging. You will review automated transactions, perform title and payment research, and update Salesforce/SAP records.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of accounts payable or transactional accounting experience, strong 10-key data entry, and proficient Excel skills to support fast-paced operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounts payable, transactional accounting, or high-volume administrative support.
• Basic accounting principles and strong 10-key data entry skills.
• Competent usage of Microsoft Excel for data processing.

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payable duties in compliance with SLAs, including dealer refunds and rebate/incentive payments.
• Review automated transactions and execute daily check and ACH payment runs for US and Canada operations.
• Conduct in-house title and payment research to resolve complex questions.
• Process, log, and distribute mail for audit records.
• Update Salesforce and SAP systems as needed; respond to inquiries.
• Perform other operational duties as assigned.

Who we’re looking for:

OPENLANE, a leader in automotive remarketing, is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk II with experience in dealer refund processing, check/ACH payment runs, and mail logging/distribution. You will be involved in reviewing automated accounting transactions, conducting title and payment research, and updating Salesforce/SAP records. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your experience in basic accounting principles, 10-key data entry, and resolving vendor/dealer inquiries. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of accounts payable or transactional accounting experience.

You Will:

• Process Accounts Payable duties in compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), including dealer refunds (arbitrations and voids) and rebate/incentive payments.
• Review automated transactions and execute daily check and ACH payment runs for US and Canada operations.
• Conduct in-house title and payment research as needed to resolve complex transactional questions.
• Process, log, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail quickly and accurately for audit records.
• Follow up on and resolve internal and external inquiries, updating Salesforce and SAP systems as needed.
• Perform other operational duties and projects as assigned by your Supervisor.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, transactional accounting, or high-volume administrative support.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and strong 10-key data entry skills.
• Competent usage of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Microsoft Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent organizational abilities.

Nice to Have’s:

• Prior experience utilizing SAP enterprise software or Salesforce CRM.
• Previous experience in the automotive remarketing, vehicle transport, or auto auction industry.
