Job summary

Westaff is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for an immediate start in Warwick, RI. This on-site role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a pay rate of $20/hour.

The ideal candidate is detail-driven and organized to handle high-volume invoice processing while supporting daily accounting operations. Responsibilities include processing and verifying invoices, reconciling statements, and assisting with month-end closing.

Qualifications

• Prior accounts payable experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Process, verify, and enter vendor invoices with accuracy.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Research and resolve invoice or payment issues.
• Coordinate invoice payments with vendors and internal departments.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
