Job summary

Patriot Machine, Inc. is seeking an accounting support professional to handle payment processing and record-keeping in an aerospace manufacturing environment. You will enter accounting data into the ERP system, file records, and compile supporting documents for transactions.

The role also involves backing up Accounts Payable and Receivable, processing checks, and supporting receptionist duties as needed in a fast-paced facility in Saint Charles, Missouri.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting is required.
• Minimum 3 years relevant work experience.
• Applicant must be a U.S. Person.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong critical thinking skills required.

Performs a variety of duties required for processing payments and accounting record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Enters accounting information into ERP system. Files accounting records
• Compiles and sorts documents such as invoices substantiating business transactions
• Attaches packing slips on appropriate invoices
• Processes checks to be mailed to vendors
• Serves as a back-up for Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Serves as a back-up to the receptionist; answers phones, greets guests
