Job summary

Escalade Sports is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk in Evansville, IN. This part-time, non-exempt role focuses on reviewing and processing internal invoices and supporting vendors to resolve discrepancies.

The position requires strong attention to detail, high data-entry accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. AS400 and MS Office knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree preferred
• Knowledge of AS400 and MS Office software preferred
• At least 2 years of related financial experience preferred
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry

Responsibilities

• Coordinate accounts payable to ensure accurate invoice processing.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues with vendors.
• Verify purchase orders and matching with receiving documents and invoices.
• Process employee expense reimbursements and maintain prepaid travel account
• Reconcile credit card statements with receipts and approvals

Position Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Reporting to: AP Supervisor

Location: Evansville, IN
Status: Non-Exempt (part-time)
Job Purpose: The accountant is responsible for reviewing and processing all internal invoices.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Coordinates all accounts payable to ensure invoices are processed accurately. Work with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Verifies purchase orders and matches with receiving documents and invoices
• Process employee expense reimbursements and maintain the prepaid travel account
• Reconcile credit card statements with appropriate receipts and approvals

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma, Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related business field preferred
• Knowledge of AS400 and MS Office software, preferred
• 2+ years of previous related financial experience, preferred
• Attention to detail, high accuracy in entering financial data and catching discrepancies
• Organized and an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
