Accounts Payable Specialist / Accounting Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our nonprofit organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable processes, including credit card payments and cash bank reconciliations. This role will also support the controller with transactional accounting tasks, ensuring the financial health and transparency of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process accounts payable (AP) transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and service providers.
• Handle credit card payments and ensure timely processing, adhering to nonprofit financial policies.
• Perform cash bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records and support the organization's financial integrity.
• Support the controller with various transactional accounting tasks, contributing to the overall financial management of the nonprofit.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation, ensuring compliance with nonprofit regulations and standards.
