Job summary

Associa is seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our Corporate Accounting team. In a fast-paced, high-volume environment, you will ensure timely and accurate corporate payables while championing process modernization and stronger internal controls.

You will engage across branches to resolve variances, support month-end close, and lead automation efforts that boost efficiency. The role emphasizes teamwork, ownership, and continuous improvement within US GAAP standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years in accounts payable or corporate accounting (multi-entity environment a plus).
• Technical Skills: US GAAP; Microsoft Office; Alpha-numeric data entry; D365 and VicAI strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and review corporate accounts payable transactions with speed, accuracy, and ownership.
• Proactively identify process inefficiencies and partner with leadership to implement improvements.
• Reconcile AP aging reports, resolve payment variances, and support month-end close activities.
• Respond to inquiries from branch controllers and cross-functional teams with a problem-solving mindset.
• Manage workload and priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Take initiative on special projects, automation efforts, and tool enhancements that drive operational excellence.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with internal and external business partners - delivering top-tier customer service.
