Job summary

McLane Company, Inc is seeking an AP Auditor to process transactions for Cigarette & Tobacco suppliers paid electronically and manage related reconciliations. The role requires attention to detail and strong communication with division personnel to maintain accurate inventory valuation and timely payments.

As an AP Auditor, you will reconcile invoices, collect from EFT suppliers, and ensure proper posting to GL accounts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Six months or more experience in accounts payable in a computerized environment.
• Six months or more experience as a McLane cost & deal auditor.
• Ability to communicate well at all levels both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to assess and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Reading, writing and understanding English at a proficient level for job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile supplier invoices to receiving documents and communicate with inventory control or merchandising.
• Make adjustments before releasing invoices to Accounts Payable to ensure correct inventory valuation.
• Follow up with EFT suppliers on credit funds due back to McLane.
• Reconcile and process supplier cash receipts and credit memos.
• Match to McLane debit memos or process billbacks or funds to the correct G/L account.
• Prepare reconciliation of processed transactions vs. wired transactions.
