Career Group in San Francisco is seeking an Accounts Payable Receivable Staff Accountant to join the accounting team on a temporary basis in downtown San Francisco. You will enter and process high-volume AP/AR transactions under the direction of the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

• Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices and receipts.
• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries.
• Set up new vendors ensuring they are compliant with organizational policies and procedures.
• Assist the Accounting Manager in process and procedures improvements.
• Respond to staff and vendor requests/inquiries.
• Assist management in other accounting related projects or needs.
• Complete accounting administrative tasks.
