Job summary

LHH is looking for an accounts payable professional in San Francisco, CA with at least three years of experience and solid Excel skills. The role focuses on full-cycle AP processing, vendor communications, and ensuring timely payments in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain strong internal controls, support month-end close, and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within AP. Equal opportunity employer.

Job description

Do you have at least three years of accounts payable experience and desire to work with a great and supportive team? Do you have strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude? We are looking for an accounts payable professional for a wonderful new role in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience, good excel skills, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle accounts payable processing, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and payment execution
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of high-volume invoices in compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies, inquiries, and payment issues efficiently
• Maintain strong internal controls and support month-end and year-end close activities related to accounts payable
• Partner with internal teams and vendors to improve processes, resolve issues, and maintain positive working relationships
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and efficiency within the accounts payable function

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounts payable or accounting experience, preferably in a complex or high-volume environment
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles, general ledger impact, and basic accounting concepts
• Proficiency with ERP systems and accounting software, along with advanced Excel skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and with external vendors
