Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Associate to join our team in New York. Responsibilities include managing vendor payments, assisting with clerical tasks during auctions, and supporting various administrative duties. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and eager to work in a dynamic environment. This is an in-house role offering competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities include:

• Billing, remittances, and filing
• Assisting with audits
• Verifying payments using source documents/invoices/Positive Pay
• Handling consignor accounts payable via check or bank transfer
• Maintaining vehicle registration, insurance, and fines
• Supporting sale day activities such as online bidding, equipment setup, and phone bidding
• Managing licensing requirements across offices
• Data processing support

Requirements:

• Knowledge of general ledger coding and bill payments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with multiple database platforms
• Previous Accounts Payable experience
