In Payroll:
- Manage bi-weekly and monthly payroll processing for employees in the U.S., Canada, U.K., and Germany.
- Handle payroll data entry, including new hires, department transfers, pay rate and address changes, direct deposit updates, deductions, and terminations.
- Research and stay current on federal, state, and international payroll regulations to ensure compliance.
- Address and resolve tax, withholding, garnishment, and wage/hour issues.
- Accurately calculate and set up garnishments, levies, and court-ordered deductions in the payroll system.
- Ensure timely and accurate updates of employee changes within the payroll schedule.
- Review and audit payroll preview reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Generate payroll reports using ADP reporting tools and Excel as needed.
- Support audits related to finance, 401(k), and insurance.
- Process employee expense reimbursements through payroll.
- Assist with special projects, such as updating HR policies, internal communications, and providing general administrative support.
- Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, benefits, and other pay-related concerns.
In Accounts Payable:
- Enter and route invoices for approval using Coupa platform and Blue Cherry.
- Post vendor payments in Dynamics SL.
- Help manage the Accounts Payable inbox and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve issues and ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on discrepancies.
- Support month-end close activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and organized AP records, including W-9s and other vendor documentation.
- Assist with preparation and documentation for annual audits.
Qualifications:
We require…
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus.
- 2–3 years of hands-on payroll and AP experience.
- Solid understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to resolving complex payroll issues.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
- Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to confidentiality.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Ability to set objectives aligned with team and organizational goals, develop plans, meet deadlines, and efficiently utilize resources.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to gauge audience reaction and adjust accordingly.
- Uphold ethical standards, maintain confidentiality, fulfill commitments, and promote responsibility.
- Apply technical expertise to accomplish work, operate and repair relevant technology, and generate new functionality within systems.
