Bill Jacobs Motorsport is seeking an Accounting / Accounts Payable Associate to join our luxury dealer group in Naperville, IL. This role partners with leadership to manage accounts payable processes and ensure timely, accurate payments, with opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic automotive environment.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years in an office accounting setting, dealership experience, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in an office/accounting environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dealership experience preferred.
• CDK experience is a plus.
• Professional demeanor and communication skills.
• Sense of urgency and accuracy in a high-volume setting.
• Conscientious, detail-oriented, and dependable in completing duties.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate posting in the correct period.
• Prepare monthly check runs and on-demand payments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with vendor policies and collect/issue W9s.
• Reconcile vendor statements and AP schedules for monthly reporting.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role…

• You will be responsible for ensuring that all vendor invoices are received and accurately accounted for in the correct time period.
• You will ensure that all payments are made on time, preparing both monthly check runs and On Demand checks, as needed.
• You will ensure compliance with Company policies for vendor approval, collecting W9’s, issuing W9’s, etc.
• You will be responsible for the reconciliation of vendor statements and accounts payable schedules for our monthly reporting to be completed.
