Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk to join our growing team at a local dealership. This role handles vendor invoices, payments, and client account reconciliations in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have strong math and accounting knowledge, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and experience with CDK. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within our family-owned business.

Qualifications

• Automotive dealership accounting experience preferred.
• Strong math and accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• CDK experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Post and process all approved vendor invoices for payment.
• Verify invoices are posted to proper GL accounts per policies.
• Maintain approved vendor files with tax/insurance details.
• Maintain accounts payable schedule and adjusting entries.
• Maintain sales tax exempt information.
• Post accounts payable invoices and record 1099 information.
• Prepare accounts payable checks in a timely manner.
• Research and answer receivable and vendor inquiries.
• Assist management with other duties as assigned.

Located at one of our local dealershipsAccounts Payable and ReceivableClerk is responsible for processing invoices, making payments and processing payment to client accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Post and process all approved vendor invoices for payment
• Verify all invoices are posted to proper general ledger accounts in accordance with company accounting policies
• Maintain approved vendor files including all required tax and insurance information
• Maintain accurate accounts payable schedule posting all required adjusting entries
• Maintain sales tax exempt information
• Post accounts payable invoices

• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

• Automotive Dealership accounting experiencepreferred
• High school diploma: advanced education preferred
• Strong knowledge of math and accounting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications necessary
• CDK experiencepreferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local/law regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
