Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk to join our dealership team. This role handles invoice processing, payments, and client account settlements in a fast-paced, automotive environment.

Location is at one of our local dealerships. The ideal candidate will have strong math and accounting skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and experience in dealership accounting.

Qualifications

• Automotive dealership accounting experience preferred.
• High school diploma; higher education preferred.
• Strong math and accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
• CDK experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to undergo background check per regulations.
• Must be 18+ to comply with driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Post and process all approved vendor invoices for payment.
• Verify all invoices are posted to proper general ledger accounts in accordance with company accounting policies.
• Maintain approved vendor files including all required tax and insurance information.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable schedule posting all required adjusting entries.
• Maintain sales tax exempt information.
• Post accounts payable invoices.
• Record and maintain all 1099 information.
• Prepare accounts payable checks in a timely manner.
• Research and answer all receivable and vendor inquiries.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Responsibilities:
