Tarantino Properties is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join the corporate office in Houston, TX. You will manage essential AP tasks, work closely with the accounting team, and ensure timely payments while upholding confidentiality.

The role emphasizes accuracy, multi-tasking, and strong communication to support month-end closes and daily operations within a growth-focused company.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of accounts payable or accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic accounting payables.
• Yardi experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Tarantino Properties is looking to add an Accounts Payable Associate to join the corporate office in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct essential accounts payable functions (e.g., track all payments and expenses, ensure payments are sent and received when due, etc.)
• Maintains basic knowledge of computer software and internet applications.
• Handle customer service issues in a professional and efficient manner, escalating to management when necessary.
• Interacting with accounting department and vendors.
• Ensures that accounts payable procedures are processed timely and accurately.
• Ensure all month end closing deadlines are met.
• Provide administrative support from the corporate office
• Ensures that all proprietary, financial, and resident information is kept confidential.
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned (e.g., year-end tax reporting, etc.)

Requirements
