Tarantino Properties is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join the corporate office in Houston, TX. This role will handle essential AP tasks, manage vendor interactions, and support month-end deadlines.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of AP or accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and solid communication skills. Yardi experience is a plus, with opportunities for growth in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic accounts payable concepts.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Tarantino Properties is looking to add an Accounts Payable Associate to join the corporate office in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct essential accounts payable functions (e.g., track all payments and expenses, ensure payments are sent and received when due, etc.)
• Maintains basic knowledge of computer software and internet applications.
• Handle customer service issues in a professional and efficient manner, escalating to management when necessary.
• Interacting with accounting department and vendors.
• Ensures that accounts payable procedures are processed timely and accurately.
• Ensure all month end closing deadlines are met.
• Provide administrative support from the corporate office
• Ensures that all proprietary, financial, and resident information is kept confidential.
• Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned (e.g., year-end tax reporting, etc.)

Requirements
