Job summary

Shoals Technologies Group, a leading provider of EBOS solutions for solar and energy storage, is seeking an Accounting Clerk focused on AP/AR and general accounting to support daily transactions and reconciliations. You will ensure accurate financial records and efficient operations, collaborating with the finance team and handling confidential information.

The role requires strong attention to detail, Excel proficiency, and experience with accounting software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years accounting/bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Accounts Receivable with collections as needed.
• Assist with general Accounts Payable functions, including account maintenance, reconciliations, and documentation support.
• Enter and maintain accurate financial data in accounting systems.
• Prepare, review, and file invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with other balance sheet reconciliations; identify, investigate, and resolve reconciling items.
• Provide administrative support for Navan and Capital One, including user administration, account maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries related to accounting records.
• Assist accountants or finance managers with audits and special projects.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
