Job summary

Firetrol Protection Systems, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking an Accounts Payable Admin to support the district office under the supervision of the Office Manager. You will handle administrative/AP tasks and help maintain accurate records.

The successful candidate will process vendor invoices, verify pricing and terms, and resolve discrepancies while collaborating with the purchasing team and other staff. This role emphasizes accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

• Accounts payable experience preferred.
• Ability to read, match, and verify invoices and POs, pricing and terms.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies or AP issues.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and provide clerical support.
• Process vendor invoices, match to POs, verify pricing/terms.
• Review and enter invoices with correct vendor ID and GL coding.
• Maintain AP files and records; ensure payments apply to correct invoices.
• Scan and email invoices for payment; resolve AP issues and discrepancies.
• Review vendor statements and resolve past-due items.
• Manage AP using accounting software (Great Plains) and other systems.
• Provide administrative support to purchasing and colleagues.
