Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in both accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Working knowledge of full-cycle AP, including three-way matching.
• NetSuite experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice entry, verification, and three-way matching.
• Prepare and coordinate check runs and electronic vendor payments.
• Process and post customer payments, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately.
• Maintain cash collection records and update payment activity as customer funds are received.
• Export ERP reports into Excel.
• Complete monthly liability account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Process customer deposit refunds and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end close activities and other accounting tasks as needed.

We’re a mid-sized, growth-oriented construction materials manufacturer with more than 50 years in business, supplying materials for large-scale commercial construction projects. With five manufacturing and distribution facilities and an established regional presence, we’ve built a reputation for quality, reliability, and long-standing customer relationships.

We’re looking for an experienced AP/AR Associate to join our accounting team on a four-month contract. This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable managing day-to-day payables and receivables, keeping financial records accurate, and helping the team stay on top of deadlines. You’ll report directly to the Controller and play an important role in supporting daily accounting operations.
