Job summary

Reframe Systems, based in Andover, MA, seeks an Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager to own end-to-end procure-to-pay across manufacturing microfactories and corporate operations. You will establish scalable AP controls, manage invoice matching, and maintain vendor accounting as production scales.

• 5+ years of dedicated Accounts Payable experience, preferably in manufacturing, hardware, construction, or deep-tech startup environments.
• Experience with end-to-end procure-to-pay processes and month-end close.
• Strong understanding of PO processes, pricing variance, and tax basics.

Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing & Matching: Manage daily intake, coding, and processing of vendor invoices, utility bills, subcontractor billings, and freight charges with 3-way matching.
• Vendor & Supply Chain Relations: Primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, onboarding, tax details, and relationships.
• Payment Execution: Prepare weekly payment runs (ACH, wire transfers, checks) with optimal terms and discounts.
• Inventory & Manufacturing Integration: Collaborate with Supply Chain to resolve discrepancies across microfactory materials and equipment.
• Reconciliations & Month-End Close: Reconcile statements, maintain subledger-to-GL accuracy, and prepare aging reports.
• Process & Controls Optimization: Assist in automated AP workflows, ERP controls, and expense management tools.

THE ROLE

As the Accounts Payable and Receivable Manager, you will own the end-to-end procure-to-pay process across our manufacturing microfactories and corporate operations. Working closely with procurement, supply chain, robotics engineering, and vendor partners, you will establish scalable AP controls, manage invoice matching, and maintain accurate inventory and vendor accounting as our production volume scales.

RESPONSIBILTIES

• Invoice Processing & Matching: Manage daily intake, coding, and processing of vendor invoices, utility bills, subcontractor billings, and freight charges utilizing 3-way matching (PO, Receiving Receipt, Invoice).


• Vendor & Supply Chain Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, manage supplier onboarding, verify W-9/tax details, and maintain strong vendor relationships.


• Payment Execution: Prepare weekly payment runs (ACH, wire transfers, and checks), ensuring optimal payment terms, early pay discounts, and cash flow management.


• Inventory & Manufacturing Integration: Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to resolve PO, price variance, and receiving discrepancies across microfactory raw materials and equipment.


• Reconciliations & Month-End Close: Reconcile vendor statements, maintain subledger-to-GL accuracy, and prepare AP aging reports and accrual schedules for monthly financial close.


• Process & Controls Optimization: Assist in setting up automated AP workflows, ERP system controls, and expense management tools to support high-growth manufacturing scaling.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of dedicated Accounts Payable experience, preferably in manufacturing, hardware, construction, or deep-tech startup environments.


• ERP & Systems: Hands-on proficiency with modern ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks Online) and automated AP software (e.g. Ramp).


• Skills: Strong understanding of PO process, job costing, sales tax/use tax basics, strong organizational skills and accrual accounting principles.


• Mindset: High-agency problem solver with exceptional attention to detail who thrives in a fast-paced microfactory or manufacturing environment.
