Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services in California is seeking a detail-oriented staff accountant to join our accounting team. You will report to the Controller and handle AP, AR, and month-end tasks while supporting Farm Operations.

Responsibilities include matching invoices, entering data, generating invoices, processing checks and reimbursements, and maintaining organized records. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of accounting experience and a Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: Matching invoices to backup or purchase orders and entering invoices accurately
• Accounts Receivable: Generating monthly invoices for service fees and sales; processing reimbursements
• Invoice & Check Processing: Submitting invoices for manager approval; tracking sign-offs; running payment aging reports; preparing check runs
• Administrative & Team Support: Providing phone support; filing; assisting Farm Operations; collaborating with a values-driven accounting team
