Job summary

You will work closely with the accounting team to process transactions, ensure accuracy, and maintain confidential financial information while prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous accounting or financial support experience.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, billing, reconciliations, and GL.
• Law firm accounting experience (preferred).
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information.
• Excellent communication and multi-priority management.

Responsibilities

• Process and record daily financial transactions including cash receipts, payments and disbursements.
• Manage accounts payable including invoices, checks and vendor payments.
• Prepare and process client billings with corrections and adjustments.
• Post incoming payments and maintain financial records.
• Process wire transfers and banking transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts for discrepancies.
• Maintain general ledger entries and assist with month-end activities.
• Support with financial reporting and respond to billing inquiries.
• Assist accounting team with additional administrative tasks as needed.
