Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years paraprofessional accounting or auditing experience.
• Associate’s degree in Accounting (or higher).
• Associate’s degree plus 15 semester hours in Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Process A/P invoices and keep transaction data updated and audited by account/reference numbers.
• Verify account balances and expenditures for multiple department accounts and funds.
• Verify and process contract data and expenditures and ensure charges align with line items/contract terms.
• Ensure payments are supported by backup documents and kept up-to-date.
• Ensure expenditures use correct funding sources and are calculated accurately.
• Prepare requisitions and receipts for vouchers and contracted charges.
• Recognize budget limits on allocations and request account modifications as needed.
