Job summary

The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery at the State of Illinois seeks an Account Technician I for the Chicago-Read Mental Health Center to perform technical accounting tasks and verify complex financial documents. Qualifications

• Two years of college or three years of related clerical bookkeeping experience.
• Ability to use office equipment and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical accounting work and verifies payments.
• Batches requisitions, purchase orders, and print orders for entry.
• Processes facility vouchers and accounts payable in SAP per deadlines.
• Ensures fiscal integrity by reconciling payments and purchase orders.
• Maintains accurate financial records in the statewide system.
• Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
