Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians is seeking an Accounting Technician II in Siletz, Oregon. The role supports the Accounting Department in paying, posting, reconciling, and balancing tribal finances, with a typical full-time, non-exempt schedule.

Salary range is $26.40–$27.54 per hour, with responsibilities spanning accounts payable, journal vouchers, GL reconciliation, and IRS filings. Occasional weekend/evening work may be required.

Qualifications

• TL115 requires Associate’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• TL116 requires an Associate’s degree in Accounting and two years’ bookkeeping experience or equivalent.
• Experience with computerized accounting systems and Windows applications.

Responsibilities

• Handle all areas of accounts payable.
• Communicate with program staff to obtain documentation for accounting records.
• Resolve billing disputes with vendors.
• Prepare and upload import files.
• Prepare monthly journal vouchers and cash disbursements.
• Maintain and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and distribute IRS forms 1099/NEC/1042.
• Prepare and submit IRS form 945 and deposits as required.
• Maintain vendor data and CTSI Water & Sewer transactions.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
