Staffmark is currently hiring a Part-Time Accounting Technician in Dayton, OH. The role involves reconciling cash transactions, helping with daily bookkeeping and general accounting tasks, and supporting cash office operations.

You will provide friendly customer service on the sales floor and assist with POS transactions and cash handling. The position requires 2+ years of experience, solid knowledge of bookkeeping, and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Current working knowledge of bookkeeping and general accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, email, databases, and other business software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of retail point-of-sale systems and inventory management is preferred.
• Previous cash register and high-volume cash handling experience is preferred.

Requirements:
