Servbank is seeking an Accounting Team Lead to guide the Finance and Accounting team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong internal controls. The role focuses on leadership by example, journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes with accountability and professionalism.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive accounting experience, banking or financial services background, and a collaborative approach to support audits and regulatory reporting while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting controls.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to independently prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software applications.
• Experience with general ledger systems and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to drive accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations for the general ledger.
• Analyze daily cash and investment activities and identify variances.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and associated schedules.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly accounting reports with high accuracy.
• Assist audits by collecting and organizing documentation and responding to requests.
