Job summary

System One in Tulsa is seeking an Accounting Systems Manager to lead the GL systems and related accounting processes. This direct-hire, on-site role partners with Accounting, Finance, and IT to optimize controls and close efficiency.

The incumbent will drive improvements, support month-end close, and lead testing for system upgrades while ensuring SOX controls and internal audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting, financial systems, financial reporting, and/or process improvement experience.
• ERP experience required; SOX exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional owner of general ledger systems and related accounting processes.
• Drive process improvements and automation to strengthen controls and close efficiency.
• Support month-end/quarter-end/year-end close with system integrations, workflows, and reconciliations.
• Lead user acceptance testing and implementation support for GL/system upgrades.
• Support internal controls and audit requests with documentation and remediation.
