Job summary

Trueline Talent represents a well-established commercial flooring contractor seeking an Accounting Manager to join their Tulsa, Oklahoma team in a fully on-site role. The position demands hands-on leadership and ownership of core financial processes while partnering closely with Operations.

The successful candidate will oversee GL, month-end close, GAAP reporting, intercompany activity, payroll, and budgets, with a path toward Controller-level growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
• Strong general ledger, reconciliation, month-end close, and financial reporting experience.
• High proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs and complex analysis).
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Payroll and payroll reconciliation experience.

Responsibilities

• Own general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Prepare and analyze monthly statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage accounting activity across multiple companies and lines of business, including intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Prepare timely job-level P&Ls and review actual project performance against estimates with the Operations team.
• Oversee accounts payable, invoice processing, vendor payments, and related workflows.
• Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, and aging analysis.
• Support and oversee payroll activity, including reconciliations and multi-state payroll.
• Prepare budgets, budget-to-actual reporting, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Reconcile credit cards, employee expenses, and related accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial data and reporting through QuickBooks Online and Excel.
• Provide financial information and support to the company's outside CPA firm and external auditors.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen accounting processes, controls, reporting, and efficiency.
• Partner with Operations and leadership to improve visibility into job profitability and overall business performance.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight to accounting support staff as the function continues to grow.
