Job summary

AAON is seeking a Manager, General Ledger Systems to own ERP GL functionality, master data, and financial controls. You will lead system enhancements, standardize processes, and drive automation while ensuring SOX compliance.

Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, and IT to optimize month-end close, support reporting, and coordinate ERP upgrades; leadership without direct reports is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting/finance/information systems.
• CPA/CMA/MBA or related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own GL ERP functionality, master data, and chart of accounts governance.
• Lead process improvements for GL to boost efficiency and controls.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual work and improve reliability.
• Support month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Lead ERP upgrades, system enhancements, and related projects; coordinate UAT and validation.
• Ensure SOX compliance and assist audits with documentation and testing.
• Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Internal Audit, and IT; influence without direct reporting.
• Communicate changes and project updates to leadership and partners.
